Property Operations

Keeping day-to-day property work organized and on schedule.

Construction & Vendor Coordination

Aligning contractors, vendors, and timelines on active projects.

Technology & IT Support

Supporting the tools and systems each property relies on.

Context

Property and construction projects have a lot of moving parts.

Galavier Group is a real estate investment and property management company operating across the NYC and Long Island market, managing residential properties with a long-term focus on value creation. As Project Coordinator, I support that work day to day — contractor schedules, vendor communication, budgets, permits and documentation, and the technology that keeps each property running — so nothing falls through the cracks and everyone involved knows where things stand.

What I Do

Coordinating people, timelines, and details so projects move forward.

  • Track project timelines, milestones, and task ownership across multiple properties and workstreams
  • Coordinate communication between property stakeholders, vendors, and contractors to keep work on schedule
  • Support technology needs and IT troubleshooting across properties, drawing on my IT support background
  • Maintain clear documentation and status updates so leadership always has visibility into where a project stands
  • Help resolve scheduling conflicts and vendor issues before they become project delays
Process

How I keep a project on track

  • Centralize timelines and vendor details in one place, so status is never a guessing game
  • Check in proactively with stakeholders instead of waiting for problems to surface
  • Document decisions and next steps clearly, so nothing depends on memory

Working Across Teams

Property and construction work touches a lot of people — owners, on-site teams, vendors, and technology partners. Part of the job is translating between them: making sure a scheduling change on-site is reflected in everyone's plan, and that technical or IT needs don't get lost in the shuffle of a busy project.

What This Looks Like Day-to-Day

Fewer surprises, clearer ownership, projects that keep moving.

The goal behind every timeline and check-in is the same one that shows up in my UX case studies: reduce friction for the people involved. Whether that's a vendor who needs a clear answer, a property that needs a technology issue resolved, or leadership that needs a fast, accurate status update — good coordination means people spend less time chasing information and more time doing the work.

A Look At The Work

A few of the projects moving across our portfolio.

Real project work from across Galavier Group's properties — the kind of exterior, interior, and infrastructure work I help keep coordinated and on schedule.

Digital Presence

Bringing galaviergroup.com online.

Beyond the physical property work, I was part of the team that scoped, built, and now maintains Galavier Group's website — the digital front door for prospective tenants, current residents, and ownership alike. It had to work for three very different visitors: someone browsing for their next apartment, a current resident trying to get a leak fixed, and leadership who wanted visibility into work happening across the portfolio.

Building It

Mapping the renter journey first

  • Mapped the full renter journey — browsing listings, applying, signing a lease, and living in the unit — then worked backward from that to figure out what each step actually needed
  • Coordinated between property management staff, who know what renters and residents ask for every day, and the technical build
  • Tested the applicant and tenant-facing flows before launch, walking through them the way a real renter would
  • Set up a lightweight process for keeping the site current, including logging capital improvements and repairs as they happen

What The Site Does

  • Searchable rental listings with photos, floor plans, and an online application, including the application fee
  • A secure tenant portal for lease documents, account balance, and payment history
  • Photo-based maintenance requests, so residents can report an issue without a phone call
  • A public "Updates" feed documenting capital improvements and repairs across the portfolio
Where This Page's Photos Come From

The project gallery above is pulled straight from that Updates feed.

Every roof, tile, and renovation photo earlier on this page is real project documentation from galaviergroup.com's public Updates feed — the same feed I help keep current. Publishing real work as it happens builds trust with prospective tenants and gives ownership a transparent, dated record of what's been done across the portfolio.
